Thinking about getting a QOS tattoo but kinda nervous about the meaning

I’ve been lurking in here for a minute and finally decided to post because I keep going back and forth on this. I’m in Atlanta and I’ve been identifying with the QOS lifestyle for a while now, but I still feel weird about making it “official” with a tattoo. I know what the meaning is to me, but I also know people outside of this community can read too much into it or straight up not get it at all. I saw a girl on Hinge with a tiny queen of spades behind her ear and it looked so clean, not flashy at all. That got me thinking maybe I want something small like that or on my ankle. I guess my question is how many of y’all got ink first and then kind of stepped deeper into the lifestyle, vs already being there and deciding the tattoo was just part of it? Also, does anyone regret placing it somewhere visible? I work in healthcare so I’m trying to be smart about that part too.

I’m the opposite lol, I got mine pretty early because I knew that’s where I was headed and I wanted to claim it. I’m in Miami and mine’s on my ankle, so it only shows when I want it to. That was the sweet spot for me because I can keep it professional if I need to, but still feel like it’s mine when I’m out. One thing I’ll say is make sure you’re doing it for you and not because a partner likes the idea. I’ve seen girls get tattooed and then later realize the whole thing didn’t match what they actually wanted. If you already feel the pull, maybe just go tiny and understated.
