Met someone off Bumble and now I’m kinda in my feelings about it
So I matched with this guy on Bumble a couple weeks ago and I honestly wasn’t expecting much. We met up at this little cocktail place in Denver near RiNo, and the conversation was so easy it kind of threw me off. He was confident but not cocky, knew how to keep things playful, and I left thinking, okay wow, that was actually fun instead of the usual awkward first date stuff.
Now we’ve seen each other three times and it’s getting more real than I planned. I’m used to more casual situations, more like weekend energy and then everybody goes back to their life. This one feels different and I can’t tell if I’m overthinking it or if I should just enjoy it. Anybody else get nervous when something that started off as a hookup-y vibe starts turning into an actual connection?

lZDSQoLXyhHNEgtCfQKYep, been there. The part that always gets me is when it stops feeling like a game and starts feeling personal. I had something similar with a guy I met in Chicago on Hinge, and I kept trying to mentally downgrade it so I wouldn’t get attached. Didn’t work, obviously. Best advice I can give is don’t act cold just because it’s getting real. If you like him, let it show a little.
